A 0-3 home loss to Nottingham Forest proved to be the final nail in the coffin for Tudor, who also lost his father right after the game and had to go home. Along with Tudor, goalkeeping coach Tomislav Rogic and physical coach Riccardo Ragnacci also left their roles. Spurs said updates on the new head coach will be provided in due course.
“We can confirm that it has been mutually agreed that head coach Igor Tudor will leave the club with immediate effect. Tomislav Rogic and Riccardo Ragnacci have also left their roles as goalkeeping coach and fitness coach respectively.”
“We thank Igor, Tomislav and Riccardo for their efforts over the past six weeks in which they have worked tirelessly. We also acknowledge the grief Igor has recently suffered and send our support to him and his family at this difficult time.”
“Updates on the new head coach will be provided in due course,” Tottenham Hotspur said in a statement.
WHO DO THE SPURS TURN TO?
After firing Tudor, the Spurs are trying to find options to install as a new head coach. According to reports in the British media, Sean Dyche is one name currently being linked with the London club after he was sacked as Nottingham Forest head coach.
Spurs are just one point above the relegation zone and face Sunderland away from home after the international break on April 12.
