President PMK Anbumani Ramadoss said on Monday that the Tamil government should not allow private bus operators to increase bus ticket fares.
He pointed out that the Madras High Court issued several orders stating that private buses operators should not be allowed to overcome and the state government should determine private bus rates in the state.
Dr. Anbumani said in his statement that it concerns that the government approved not only the current increase in the fare, but also regular inflation -based tourist trips.
“As in July, electricity tariffs are grown every year, buses will now increase once a year. Such decisions will not only allow the government but also to private players to use the public.
