According to reports, MP Tinamool Congress (TMC) Mahua Moitr married a higher advocate and former deputy BJD Pinaki Misra in Germany.
Mrs. Moitra thanked everyone for his wishes. She wrote, “Thank you all for love and good wishes !! So grateful.”

TMC Lok Sabha MP from Jadavpur Saayoni Ghosh took X to congratulate the couple. “Congratulations to MM & PM … Mahua Moitra, Pinaki Misra, I wish you lifelong love and laughter!”
Mrs. Moitra, -Politik with an investment banker, is a member of Krishhnanagar in West Bengal for the second term. Previously, it served as a member of the Legislative Assembly in the State. Mrs. Moitra was previously married to Danish financier Lars Borson.
Mr. Misra, the leader of BJD, is the leader of the Supreme Court advocate and for four term of office he worked as a deputy from Puri. Previously he was married to Sangeeet Misra, with whom he has two children.
Mrs. Moit, known for her sharp attacks on the ruling side of Bharatiya Janata (BJP), found herself involved in the discussion in the controversy after accusation for “cash” and “gifts” for asking questions at Lok Sabha.
The investigation against it was carried out by Lok Sabha on the basis of a complaint by BJP Nishikant Dubey, who quoted a letter he received from the defending champion Jai Anant Dehadrai, former partner of Mrs. Moitra.
Dubey said that a lawyer shares “irreversible” evidence of bribes exchanged between TMC and Darshan Hiranandani, a well -known business tycoon to ask questions in parliament in exchange for “cash” and “gifts”.
Mrs. Mitra denied the accusation of accepting any bribe, although she admitted that she had shared the authorization of Lok Saby with Hiranandani’s employees.
In December 2023 it was excluded from Lok Sabha in the case of “bribe-for-text”. In 2024, however, again won Public opinion surveys Lok Sabha from the same chair with a span of more than 56,000 votes.
