Hyderabad Cricket Association President Jagan Mohan Rao. File.
Five higher officials from Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA), including President Jagan Mohan Rao, were on Wednesday in connection with alleged discrepancies in the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) season.
Other retention for interrogation was identified as a treasurer HCA C. Srinivas Rao, CEO of Sunil Kante, Secretary General of Rajender Yadav and his wife G. Kavit.
Their arrests monitor the report presented by the alertness and wing for enforcement of the law to the state government and describe in detail the suspicious release in the administration of public affairs and the allocation of tickets of associations during IPL.
Preliminary findings allegedly support serious charges of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) against HCA officials, including the demands on intimidation, coercion and extortion of free tickets and access to corporate boxes.
According to SRH Jagan Mohan Rao, he reportedly locked the company box just before the team match against Super Giants Lucknow 27. The franchise claimed that this step violated the three -meter agreement between SRH, HCA and control of the cricket board in India, allowing the association to distribute 3,900 free tickets, 10% of the stadium capacity.
