
South Africa reached 51 on 2 on the third day of the first test against Pakistan at the Gaddafi stadium on Tuesday, in an effort to play a record 277. Proteas will have to set up a new benchmark to take the lead 1-0 in the series.
Ryan Rickelton and Tony de Zorzi, the best shooters of the Republic of South Africa from the first shifts, were undefeated at the end of 29 and 16 after survived the tense final meeting. Their partnership raised visitors from 18 to 2 and scored for just over two runs for more than.
