YSRCP state coordinator Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy on Friday directed regional coordinators, district presidents, MLAs and senior leaders to intensify local outreach and sharpen the party’s focus on key political and public issues while strengthening its organizational structure.
Mr. Ramakrishna Reddy told them through video conferencing that the YSRCP “maintains a clear and consistent stand on the capital issue”.
He alleged that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu lacked the intention to complete Amaravati and was using it for financial gain.
“In contrast, the Machilipatnam, Vijayawada and Guntur Linking Growth Corridor (MAVIGUN) model proposed by YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is practical, cost-effective and development-oriented,” said Mr. Ramakrishna Reddy.
He also expressed concern over the functioning of the TTD and alleged that the actions of its chairman BR Naidu were undermining the sanctity of Tirumala.
He asked YSRCP leaders to perform special prayers in temples on April 4 and mobilize public opinion to demand the removal of the chairman.
He said the formation of party committees was nearing completion with the goal of enrolling 18 million active members. He asked leaders to strengthen digital coordination mechanisms and stressed the importance of protecting voter lists.
He further asked the leaders to highlight issues like disruption of Aarogyasri services, delay in payment of dues and irrigation issues related to key projects like Polavaram. He also called for preparation for the upcoming municipal elections.
