In a significant step towards industrial development in the district of Kurnool, “Bhumi Puja” for the upcoming micro, small and medium -sized enterprises (MSME) in Banavasi in Yemmiganur Mandal on Tuesday. MSME Park is assumed as a center of textile and allied industries.
In the first phase, the basic infrastructure on 22 acres develops within three months. On the remaining 50 acres, plans are used to set units related to textiles, including wastewater processing.
At the ceremony “Bhumi Puja”, BC Welfare, Handlooms and Textiles Minister S. Savitha, reaffirmed the obligation of the main Minister N. Chandrababa Naida to the welfare of the weavers. She criticized the previous government for neglecting weavers and stated that the CM Naida, who personally witnessed the problems faced by the weavers in Mangalagiri, brought her the priority of their well -being.
She said, “As soon as the NDA came to power, we started to provide 200 free electricity units for hand -held points and 500 units to PowerLooms in the state. In addition, we are also setting up a cluster handloom, organizing exhibitions and assigning 348 GBPs for these initiatives.”
The Minister of Industry and TG Bharath has assured that he will strive to obtain a recognition of textiles made from Yemmiganur. He also said that he would also try to get Tirumal Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) to use shawls made in Yemmiganur. “I will also see that the scarves produced here are used in my (industrial) department,” he said.
Mr. Bharath said: “The NDA government focuses on the development of the state on all fronts. If we have two decades of power, we will make Andhra Pradesh one of the best developed states if it is a country.”
