On Tuesday, a 27 -year -old postgraduate student at Belagavi Institute of Medical Sciences (Bims) was found.
Some students found the body of Priya Karthik in their hostel room.
She called from Bengalur. She was on duty on Monday evening. She returned to her room at night. She looked normal, one of her friends told the police.
Bims Ashok Kumar Shetty, who visited the emergency department, told reporters that Priya was receiving medical treatment for mental depression.
However, the details of the cause of death will be known after postmort, said Dr. Shetty.
A case was registered.
