Bhadra Tiger Reserve officials cleaned 43 acres in a 43 Badra Wildlife Sanctuary, in the village of Kesavina Mane in Muthodi Wildlife Range in a three -day operation that ended on Monday. The drive was attended by a team of 100 employees.
The forest department registered a case concerning the intervention in the forest area under the Act on the Protection of Wild Animals from 1972. September 2022. The court of the Assistant Bhadlife forest assistant heard this case and issued an order to clean the intervention within 39 days.
Given that ENCROACHERS did not clarify within the set deadline, the Ministry performed an operation with the support of the Chikkamagalur District Administration, the police and the health department. Employees of Subdivize Bhadra Wildlife Subdivision, Lakkvvali Range and supporting staff were involved in the operation, Pulkit Meen, DCF Bhadra Tiger Reserve said.
