The highway department would prepare estimates to lay a four -lane highway between the Gobickettipaayam and Dharapuram and Perumanallur and Kunnathur, Minister of Motorways and Public Work, which he introduced in the Assembly on Monday.
Velu responded to the legislator AIADMK Ka Sengottaiyan and stated that the intensity of traffic is one of the factors that decided to decide to lay a four -lane highway. Velu said that engineers would be consulted on the intensity of traffic and during this financial year estimates for these two sections will be made.
During his speech Mr. Sengottaiyan said there was a traffic overload and several accidents reported on the road between Gobi and Dharapuram and the inspection spread to a four -lane.
Similarly, the inspection for the four lane between Perumanallur and Kunnathur took place. The former minister also tried to speed up the steps to transform them into four ropes.
