With regard to the forecast of heavy rain from August 13, the GHMC Commissioner RV Karnan issued all officials the necessary instructions to be in alert and to ensure proper action with regard to dilapidated structures and cellar excavations in the city.
He asked officials to re -check the status of identified dilapidated structures and excavations in the cellar and take immediate action as needed.
On Tuesday, Mr. Karnan addressed an online revision meeting on the action of the event on these two fronts. He noticed the pendant of the event in Khairatabad, Secunderab and Charminar Zones, wanted subsequent and necessary events.
The action on dilapidated structures and excavations in the cellar is carried out as a result of the monsoon by issuing notifications and taking preventive measures to protect life and real estate, GHMC said.
A total of 685 dilapidated structures were identified in the city, and in the case of 327 structures through repairs or evacuation, measures were taken. For the remaining subsequent events, it was initiated by issuing a notification and obtaining reports on structural security and owners of advice on the release of premises.
Furthermore, instructions were issued to the officials of the zoning planning wing, which should be available in the coming days, taking into account the prediction of a strong collision. All sheets were canceled if in the case of extraordinary events.
