
Narcotic tablets confiscated from a four -member gang by the police Katpadi.
Police Katpadi arrested a gang of four people, including siblings from Bombai, for holding 2,100 narcotic tablets (Tapentadol) near the Katadadi railway station.
The arrested persons are siblings S. Nikita Hemanth, 26, and S. Girish, 27; K. Nikil Rajesh, 34; A B. Vinoth Kumar, 27.
Based on Tip-Off, Superintendent A. Mayilvaganan, he created special teams to perform surprising checks at railway stations in the district. During one such inspection near the railway station, Katads captured the police team with members of the gangs segregation tablets near the dilapidated building.
The police said the gang bought tablets from pharmacies in Mumbai and sold them at higher prices in Tamil Nadu. They followed the suspects using their mobile phones before they turn in Vellore.
The arrested persons were submitted in a central prison in Vellore. The probe is running.
