
Nails protect the skin under injury and can be useful for scratching itching or peeling fruit. However, they can also detect traces of your health. There are many old beliefs about what nails suggest. For example, some call white spots on the nails – called Leukonychia – they record the lack of calcium. But is it really true?
How are the nails structured?
Nails are leather extension and are made of keratin, strong protein that protects your fingers and fingers from damage. The shape of a crescent on the base, called lunula, is a “growth center” of the nail that creates cells that harden into the nail. Just above it is a cuticle, a layer of dead cells connecting the nail to the skin. The cuticle acts as a guard and keeps bacteria, fungi and other bacteria away.

What do different nail changes indicate?
Bothra elaborates: “For example, pale nails may indicate low hemoglobin, while yellow nails can be associated with fungal infections or even lung -related problems.
It recommends paying attention to these fine features as they can emphasize the need for better nutrition or medical care. Simple daily nail control can help you capture timely warnings and prefer your well -being.
