In the main step towards expanding the infrastructure of legal education in Chamarajanagar, the Indian Bar Association granted approval for establishing a governmental legal university in the district. This comes in response to the appeal of MP Chamarajanagar Sunil Bose.
Approval allows the university to grant 60 students to a three -year LLB since the current academic year.
The state government previously nodded at the opening of three -year LLB courses and five -year -old BA LLB. The Silk Cocoon Market market was set up a temporary campus on the Santhemarahalli road in Chamarajanagar. The institution is associated with Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi, and the necessary fees were paid to the Indian Bar Association that sought its consent.
