After an initial delay, the construction of the Vallathai Kadavu bridge over Cherupuzha, which connects Karamoola and Vallathaipara in Karassery grama panchayat, continues.
Officials said the project has entered its final phase. Now, the concrete bridge being constructed at Vallathai Kadavu is expected to be operational before monsoon.
The old ventilated pipe bridge at Kadavu has been demolished and a new bridge is being constructed at a cost of ₹5 crore, which is approved by the state government.
