Kochi Corporation councilors have increased demand for a special rehabilitation package for those who may lose land for the proposed development of Thammanam – pulpads during experts.
Approximately three hectares of land from the Padma intersection on the national highway are required for the proposed road development. The reconnaissance stones were placed along the final match of the section, the officials informed the meeting.
Councilor MG Aristotle pointed out that the report on the assessment of social impact does not include a situation where buildings concerned by the project that previously surrendered their land or for compensation face the risk of complete demolition. He and Councilor Sudha Dileep demanded that those who probably lost their land or structure for the project should be provided again by a special compensatory package. It should also be included in the meeting, they said.
Officials stated that landowners’ disabilities may be identified and stipulated as soon as the notification of 12 (1) is issued and the income documents are verified. According to Aristotle, the average price for the registration of real estate in the project will be for three years before the announcement as a measure of compensation as a scale.
