5. UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres on Sunday expressed his deep concern about recent armed clashes along the border of Cambodia and Thailand and called on both nations to agree to the immediate ceasefire and resolve their disputes through dialogue.
In the paper on X, the UN chief urged a ceasefire and help to facilitate the peace solution between the two nations.
“I am deeply concerned with recent armed clashes on the border between Cambodia and Thai. I call on both sides to immediately agree to the ceasefire and solve any problems through dialogue. I will remain available in efforts to resolve the dispute,” Guterres said.
