The Election Commission of the India, which advocated its decision to carry out a special intensive revision (Sir) of the Bihar election roles in the Supreme Court, pointed out the numerous complaints of political parties regarding the inaccuracy of the voters’ lists. “(I) N The reaction of the restoration of public confidence in the integrity of the electoral role, the Commission has launched Sir,” said the Court in the Council of July 21.

Opposition attacks
The first phase of Sir finished on July 25, with the possibility that approximately 66 names were hit by Bihar’s design of the election role. Some of these names belong to the deceased voters or those who moved from the state, while other voters were registered to vote in two places or did not finish their enumeration forms.
Opposition parties led by Congress were constantly attacked on the election committee, claiming that the election roles were manipulated during the polls of the public opinion of Maharashtra and Haryan. At the beginning of this week, the opposition leader Rahul Gandhi opened a new front by claiming manipulation with voters in Karnataka during last year’s Lok Sabha elections.
The vote body stated that political parties across the spectrum also expressed concern about the accuracy of the election roles revised by the process of a summary revision in terms of incorrect integration of the names of the deceased, migrated and non-O-O-voters. In order to restore public confidence and deal with these fears, Sir decided, ECI said.
Unlike summary revisions, Sir includes complete preparation of election roles to ensure accuracy, transparency and integration.

The head official ECI told the Hindes that the Commission also evaluated the matter independent of these complaints and concluded that an intense revision was needed.
This attitude also reflects the counteracting affidavit submitted in court. “The Commission was considered to be the opinion that the absence of any intensive revision had required a stricter and basic exercise for almost two decades,” she said.
Political parties also reported the survey body that the Supreme Court also reported that political parties were appointed about 1.5 agents at the Lakh level to help officers at the level of the stand to address voters.
