Former Rajya Sabha member TG Venkatesh lauded TGV Kalakshetram for promoting art and artistes through various cultural activities and finding a place in the Telugu Book of Records three times in one year.
Telugu Book of World Records Chairman Dr. Chanubatla Venkatachari on Thursday (November 6, 2025) felicitated Mr. Venkatesh, who is the Chairman of TGV Kalakshetram, on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Venkatesh said that they are encouraging and supporting art and artists by organizing various shows across the Telugu states. “Kalakshetram preserves and brings back to life art forms that are losing their luster in modern times,” he said.
Mr. Venkatesh said TGV Kalakshetram found a place in the Telugu Book of World Records for the first time when it organized a 48-hour non-stop performance of former Chief Minister NT Rama Rao’s film songs on the occasion of the former Chief Minister’s 101st birth anniversary celebrations. Second time for organizing a non-stop mono event with 80 artists and third time for organizing cultural programs from 10 am to 10 pm continuously for one week on the occasion of AP Formation Day.
Mr. Venkatesh attributed the performance of TGV Kalakshetram to its President P. Obulaiah and his team.
