The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) on Monday approached the Nampally police to report several cases of misuse of its name and official logo.
It was said that a private person hailing from Srikakulam in Andhra Pradesh allegedly called several colleges in the city and demanded money with reference to TGCHE. The caller’s photo and identification, officials said, showed TGCHE and its logo.
