Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is reviewing the procurement and supply mechanism for educational institutions in Hyderabad on Thursday.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has directed officials to ensure that all educational material required by students in government schools and welfare hostels is delivered by June 15 without compromising on quality.
He said the government decided on a centralized procurement system mainly to strengthen accountability and reduce irregularities. Previously, individual departments dealt with purchasing and distribution separately, which led to several inconsistencies.
