The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation employees went on strike on Wednesday (April 22, 2026) leading to widespread disruption to bus services. While the number of affected services is still unknown, the workers stood on the roads and at various bus depots with banners and placards demanding redressal of their demands.
The impact was immediate at Jubilee Bus Station, Mehdipatnam depot, Sangareddy and other major hubs of the transporter.
