Justice T. Madhavi Devi of the Telangana High Court on Tuesday (October 6, 2026) directed officials of the Central Crime Station (CCS), Hyderabad not to take any coercive action against Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader Manne Krishanka in a crime registered over alleged false allegations made by Chief’s family members during a press conference by Chief Revan’s family regarding property. The judge directed the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) to serve a notice on Krishanka under section 35 (3) of Bharatiya Nyaya Suraksha Sanhita-2023 in this crime. The judge also said that the police should follow the guidelines laid down by the apex court in Arnesh Kumar vs State of Bihar. She noted that the Supreme Court had ruled in the Lalitha Kumari case that the police should conduct a preliminary investigation before issuing a first information report (FIR).

However, Justice Madhavi Devi ordered the petitioner to cooperate with the investigators. The CCS authorities issued an FIR (668/2026) on a complaint filed by Mettu Sai Kumar, president of the Telangana Fisheries Cooperative Societies Federation. He alleged that Krishank, the social media convenor of the BRS party, had recently made baseless allegations against Chief Minister Naimish Reddy’s daughter at a press conference, accusing her of acquiring assets worth several thousand crores of rupees.

Krishank filed a lunch petition in the High Court challenging the FIR. The petitioner’s counsel argued that the FIR against Krishanka was based on a false complaint. Government home plea Mahesh Raje claimed that the case was registered the previous day and the police was probing the details in the matter.

Meanwhile, the Gopalapuram police arrested Krishnak near his home in Secunderabad around 10 am in another case registered against him for allegedly inappropriate content he posted on social media about the chief minister’s family members securing high stakes in a private medical hospital group and a pharmaceutical company.
