Election notification for 4,236 posts of Sarpanch and 37,440 ward members under the first phase of Gram Panchayat elections-2025 in Telangana has been issued by the Returning Officer. The Telangana State Election Commission on Thursday (November 27, 2025) said the voter list will be displayed on board at the Gram Panchayat offices.
Nominations for the first phase can be made from Thursday (10.30am to 5.00pm) until 5.00pm on 29 November 2025, according to the voting schedule published on Tuesday (25 November 2025). The list of candidates will be published on December 3, 2025.

The Gram Panchayat elections will be held in three phases; while the first phase of voting will take place on December 11, followed by the second and third phases on December 14 and 17. There are a total of 12,278 village panchayats and 1.12 lakh wards.
Meanwhile, poll-related activity has begun in several districts. Gram Panchayats were divided into groups to receive nominations. Venues were announced and arrangements made in Sangareddy district.
