Congress Head and Member of Parliament (MP) Kodikunnil Suresh on Thursday increased the case of Kodakar’s money in Lok Sabha and strongly criticized the Directorate for Pravo (ED) for his “selective investigation”, “inserting Bharatiya Janata (BJP) a black network”. He also stated that the investigation must be carried out under the supervision of the High Court judge in the retirement, a press release from the deputies’ office.
When Mr. Suresh addressed the house during the zero hour, he stressed that the case of Kodakar was not just a robbery on the highway, but a well -organized Hawaly operation, which includes 3.5 GBP Crore, not taken into account, allegedly associated with the BJP election campaign in Kerala. He pointed out that Keral’s police investigation revealed clear evidence of the involvement of BJP leaders, yet ED deliberately limited its probe and could not trace the championship for operation.
“Despite the key accused individuals, they openly admit their connection with BJP officials, ED has reduced the case to a mere transaction with black money and comfortably ignored a greater plot. It is a cheeky subversion of justice, showing a dangerous formula of the acting as a political instrument,” the deputy.
He also asked why ED does not follow the source and goal of this illegal money and whether it was part of the illegal election financing of BJP. He demanded an independent and full -fledged investigation covering all financial trails and political ties to ensure responsibility.
