Srisailam temple trust chairman conducts surprise inspections
Srisailam Pothugunta Temple Board Chairman Ramesh Naidu conducted a surprise inspection of the Laddu Prasadam sales center and sacred vibuthi sales counter on Sunday.
Mr. Naidu first examined the stock records of the Laddu Prasadam outlets and reviewed the ticketing process. He also verified the sales data at the cash counter.
On the occasion, the Chairman directed the officials concerned to strictly observe hygiene and cleanliness during the preparation of Laddu and Pulihora Prasadam. He emphasized that the quality of prasadam must not be compromised in any way.
He further directed that sufficient supply of Laddu Prasadam should be kept ready at all times to meet the demands of the devotees. Stating that there is usually a large influx of devotees on Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, public holidays and auspicious festival days, he directed that the production of prasadam be increased according to the expected crowd and that appropriate arrangements be made in advance.
He emphasized the need for systematic, day-to-day planning of prasadam production and also instructed the staff to take necessary measures to ensure speedy distribution of prasadam, thus preventing devotees from waiting in long queues at the sales centres. Similarly, the staff were instructed to treat the devotees with courtesy.
Subsequently, the temple’s Vibhuti (sacred ash) sales counter was inspected. Inventory records were reviewed to verify stock items and daily sales figures, and cash on the counter was reconciled with sales records.
Meanwhile, the sudden rush of devotees prompted the temple management to cancel the darshan break on Monday. Those who come with recommendation letters for VIP darshan will be allowed alankara darshan only, while those who have already booked sparsha darshan tickets online or Mana Mitra app will be allowed darshan only at fixed time. The temple management provides water and drinking water to the devotees waiting in the queue for darshan.
