The Special Court of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Friday (June 27, 2025) granted a ten -day link of two accused who were arrested for the disagreement of Pakistani terrorists for the deadly terrorist attack of Pahalgam in April, the officials said.
The local court previously awarded NIA a five -day link of two accused on Monday, which expired on Friday (27th June 2025).
NIA created a duo before a special judgment of NIA, which granted another 10 -day link, they said.
Two men – Parvaiz Ahmad Jothar of Batkote, Pahalgam; And Bashir Ahmad Jothar from Hill Park, Pahalgam – was arrested on Sunday Nia in the first main breakthrough in an investigation of an attack on April 22, which left 26 people, mostly tourists, dead and 16 injured.
According to the NIA, the accused revealed the identity of three armed terrorists involved in the attack and confirmed that Pakistan nationals were associated with the forbidden terrorist clothing of Lashkar-E-TABA (years).
Parvaiz and Bashir consciously suffered terrorists in the seasonal “dhok” (cottage) in the Hill Park before the attack, according to the findings of Nia.
These two provided food, shelter and logistics support to terrorists who were selectively targeted and killed tourists on the basis of their religious identity, making it one of the most amazing terrorist attacks in recent memory, the agency said.
NIA continues its probe into the terrorist network, which allowed brutal killing in the center of Kashmir.
