
Thiruvananthapuram district has a little over 25,26,325 voters in the final voter list released by the Election Commission of India (EC) on Saturday after the Special Intensive Revision (SIR).
This number is 3.21 lakh less compared to the 27 October 2025 list which had 28,47,907 voters, but 86,083 voters higher compared to the draft voter list released on 23 December 2025. A total of 24,40,242 voters appeared on the second list.
Out of 25,26,325 voters in the final order, 13,21,354 are women, 12,04,917 are men and 54 are transgender voters. Thiruvananthapuram has the highest number of second category voters in the state.
The EC has formally released the final results after the SIR exercise which began in Kerala with the house-to-house enumeration phase on November 4, 2025.
Among the 14 assembly constituencies, Kovalam has the highest number of voters (1,99,738) while Thiruvananthapuram with 1,57,453 voters has the lowest.
The latest number of voters in the 14 assembly constituencies in the district are as follows: Varkala (1,82,681), Attingal (1,97,231), Chirayinkeezhu (1,94,981), Nedumangad (1,97,007), Vamanapuram (1,87,118, 118, Kazha Vattiyurkavu, 26). (1,63,063), Thiruvananthapuram (1,57,453), Nemom (1,69,371), Aruvikkara (1,80,182), Parassala (1,93,742), Kattakada (1,75,589), Kovalam (1,99,738) and Neyyattinkaraa, 261.
Although the SIR exercise has ended, voters can still add their names to the EC list, election officials said.
The Electoral Code stipulates that names can be entered in the list of voters until the last day of submission of proposals for elections.
