SIR: another pre-printed Form 7 surfaces, fueling fears of a larger conspiracy
Fears of a larger conspiracy behind claims of mass deletion of voters in the ongoing Special Intensive Revision of Electoral Rolls 2026 were confirmed on Friday in another pre-printed Form 7 that surfaced in Bahadurpura constituency.
The form, which comes from the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee, appears to be ready for submission, with the voter’s name and address printed on the form, not by hand. However, the applicant’s name is missing from the form, confirming that it was not submitted.
The first case of mass Form 7 in Hyderabad occurred on 1 October 2026 in Musheerabad constituency. The pre-printed applications were allegedly filed by a Booth Level agent of the Bharatiya Janata Party seeking deletion of a total of 31 voters, who included Congress party BLAs and his family members.
The issue reportedly came to light when the officer concerned at the booth level approached the family with a query, sources said. After receiving the information from the ground workers, the polling cell of TPCC has started investigation in all the constituencies.
“We learned that the constituency members-in-charge distributed the forms to the division chairmen who then circulated them to the BLA for objections,” sources in the cell claimed.
According to the original plan, the forms were not to be submitted until after October 1 to flood the electoral authorities, which are already burdened with millions awaiting hearings from the notification stage. The deadline for submitting claims and objections ends on October 7.
The Musheerabad applications lacked the signature of the BLO, making it clear that the claims were not uploaded to the Election Commission application.
District Electoral Officer and GHMC Commissioner RVKarnan, when contacted, assured that due diligence will be followed by the election authorities while scrutinizing Form 7 applications.
