
Congress MP Shashi Tharoor ended on Friday an air crash Air India near the international airport Sardar VallaBhbhai in Ahmedabad.

Air India said there were 169 Indians, 53 British, seven Portuguese and one Canadian national.
According to ATC, the aircraft left Ahmedabad at 1339 IST (0809 UTC) from the runway 23. It accepted Mayday calls to ATC, but then the aircraft did not respond to ATC calls. Immediately after departure, he fell to the ground in front of the airport. The clerk said that from the scene of the accident he could see that heavy black smoke.
