
On Saturday, the Sumit Kumar district collector ordered officials of the medical and medical departments to ensure 100% of the registration of pregnant women in each primary health center (PHC) across the Chittoor.
The collector concerning the employee of medical and medical staff for review stressed that the registration must be completed within 12 weeks of pregnancy. “Although we could achieve 80% of registrations, we also need to focus on the remaining 20%, a parameter that is essential to maintain perfect health administration,” he said.
Sumit Kumar urged medical and medical staff at the field level to constantly maintain monitoring of high -risk and adolescent pregnancies until childbirth. “This ensures that all births take place in government hospitals. The highest importance should be assigned to monitor the anemia level, creating ID for all pregnant women and registration of every newborn that monitors timely vaccination,” the collector said.
The collector, who focused on the low coverage of the MR-1 and MR-2 vaccination in the Chittoor district, ordered officials to increase to 100%by the first week of October. He warned that the officials would find that strict disciplinary measures would be taken, which are lax in the fulfillment of duties.
