The State Minister of Trade Unions for Health and Family Care of Anupriya Patel said on Monday that institutions on the Lines of the Institute and Hearing All India (Aiish), Mysuru, and the second such institute will appear in Kanpuru.
The foundation stone for Kanpur Aiish was laid in 2024 and the work is currently undergoing progress, she said.
At the Diamond Jubilee Aiish celebrations, Aiish and All India Institute of Medical Sciences (Aiims), they cooperate on expanding speech and hearing services to patients attending AIIMS.
She emphasized the milestones and achievements of Aiish and described it as one of the most important institutions in Southeast Asia in communication disorders.
She said the Institute plays a crucial role in national programs, such as the National Program for the Prevention and Control of Deafness and Bal Swasthya Karyakram.
