Vakati Srihari launched his political journey as a congress worker in 1995 and from 1996 to 2001 he worked as Secretary of MAKTHAL Congress Mandal. In the former Mahabubnagar district he was later elected as Sarpanch Majthal Major Gram Panchayat.
In 2014 he was elected with the second highest majority as ZPTC of Makthal, working as the leader of the floor of the ZP Congress. He then held several party positions, including the Secretary General of Mahabubnagar and President DCC, Narayanpet.
In 2023, Makthal Constituration won with a majority of 17,525 votes against his opponent Chitt Rammohan Reddy from BRS. His wife Lalitha was MPTC of Dasarapally and his brother and other family members are also in local politics.
Mr. Srihari questioned various elections, including gram Panchayat, municipalities, PAC, MPTC and ZPTC, since 2015, except for the assembly and parliament.
In 1972 he was born to Vakati Narsimulu, supplier, and Vakati Ramulamm, retired in Macthal in the district of Narayanpet. Is from Bc (D) (Mudiiraj community). He received an art bachelor (BA).
