Adani Krishnapatnam Port Limited (AKPL) on Wednesday announced that the port handled a daily peak of 1,32,800 million tonnes (MT) of cargo on November 28, 2025. The previous high was 1,31,966 MT on April 20, 2025.
AKPL Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Jagdish Patel said mechanized berths helped achieve the milestone. “Mechanized systems and teamwork have increased operational efficiency with reduced emissions,” he said.
Highlighting another milestone, the CEO said that AKPL has also successfully managed the highest ever monthly fertilizer load of 0.43 MT in November 2025, surpassing the previous record of 0.36 MT in December 2023.
