What do you think?” (Should I play in front or go on the back foot? What do you think?)Sooryavanshi replied calmly. Sooryavanshi: “Dekh lo. Double bounce ho raha hai. Kyunki ye tez nahi aayi. Aur bounce bhi kam tha.” (See for yourself. A historic debut for a teenager

Sooryavanshi’s long-awaited debut for India finally came against England, becoming the youngest cricketer to represent India in international cricket.At just 15 years and 99 days, the left-handed batsman broke Sachin Tendulkar’s long-standing record of 16 years and 205 days to become India’s youngest international debutant. He also passed Piyush Chawla on the all-time list.

Undaunted debut knock

The Bihar youngster showed no signs of nervousness during his brief stay at the crease.He scored 14 runs off just 10 balls, including two sixes. One of them came from England quick Jofra Archer while the other was hit against Josh Tongue.His entertaining innings ended when he lunged at Will Jacks and was stumped by wicketkeeper Jos Buttler.While Sooryavanshi impressed with his fearless approach, Abhishek Sharma continued his fine form at the top of the order.The left-hander made 43 off just 24 deliveries, hitting eight fours and a six before being dismissed by Sam Curran.
