
The conviction of the climate activist Sonama Wangchuk under the Strict National Security Act (NSA), the members of Karnataka Rajya Dalit Sangharsh Samiti accused the central government led by BJP to try to permeate the Mr. Wangchuk and false for recent violence in Ladakh.
Samiti Sate Convemer Arjun Bhadre addressing press entities here on Friday that Mr. Wangchuk’s detainment was an attack on democratic principles, the central government abused the NSA to suppress Ladakh’s inhabitants who advocate their constitutional protection, economic security and environmental protection.
Mr Bhadre said that the Apex and Kargil Democratic Alliance easily demanded the Center for Independent Statehood, Constitutional Protection within the sixth schedule, the establishment of a public service Commission and an increase in parliamentary representation for Ladakh.
“The passion of the Office and the Trip of the Flag of the Party (BJP) during the protest leads to accusations of property, and this cannot be considered an anti-national act, the modi-going government focused on Mr. Wangchuk because he led the movement that demanded the center to fulfill his promises,” Mr. Bhadre said.
Samiti demanded the immediate release of Mr. Wangchuk and also called on the government to order a court investigation at a high level of violence in Ladak.
