Last year, the low-level bridge-cum-barrrage level in the village of Sambararagi in the Belagavi district was washed out in heavy rain on Monday.
The inhabitants of the village complained on Monday that it was due to the low quality of work performed by the Ministry of Small irrigation.
The bridge was built last year at the price of 50 lakh. But because of the poor quality of work, according to Basavaraj Karigar, he has now collapsed.
