Indian vision of lectures 2047 on Sunday (August 24, 2025) from academic prof. Pratapa Bhan Meht emphasized the focus on critical issues such as poverty, authoritarianism, communism and ecological crisis, unlike noble planning.
His lecture on the Indian vision for 2047 offers a wide reflection on the future of the country and urges new thinking to deal with the challenges of democracy, the management of public and civilization identity things when India is approaching 100 years of independence.
A series of lectures by DS Borser about “My Vision of India: 2047 AD” is an initiative of civil society and was introduced in 1999.
The lecture noted that while several visions for 2047 already exist, an urgent reality often overlooks. He emphasized three basic perspectives: alleviating human suffering, achieving the status of the developed nation through the visionary leadership and compliance with the constitutional values of freedom, equality and fraternity. The speaker claimed that sophisticated planning documents are insufficient if problems such as poverty, communism, authoritarianism and ecological devastation remain unaddressed.
The key problem was the collapse of the meaning and communication in democracy. He stressed that civic life depends on sincerity, shared facts and justified debate. It warned without the restoration of these foundations, democracy cannot flourish.
Party contest
The administration of the public speaker pointed to the limitation of competition -based competition, which is increasingly spoiled by guerrillas and contradictions. The lecture demanded a new institutional imagination-structure that supports problems and solving problems rather than conflict.
The lecture turned to the global role of India and described the unfinished projects for freedom, including independence and self -determination. This required an Indian emergence as a knot in a fair world order and proposed reimaging South Asia as a unified strategic and moral space to face external vulnerabilities.
The address also examined the Indian civilization sensitivity and lamented its erosion. He said the speaker to reduce civilization on power structures, ignoring his philosophical and spiritual depth. The rise of Hindutva nationalism was identified as the only biggest attack and reduced the Indian civilization identity to the ethnic framework and threw away its universal spiritual codes.
In conclusion, the lecture defined spirituality as the ability to perceive and act objectively in the world, knowing in the center of investigation. She expressed hope that by 2047, India would embody Anand Sat-Chit-Anand-meaning, consciousness and bliss-which means a nation that has fulfilled its ambitions with dignity and depth.
