Bharatiya Janata Party workers, leaders and supporters celebrated post-saffron party across West Bengal on Tuesday (May 5, 2026) produced a historic landslide victory in the state election. Celebrations were also held across government offices.
Bikes and cars decorated with saffron and carrying BJP flags took part in rallies across the state. BJP supporters raised Jai Shri Ram slogans outside the houses of Mamata Banerjee and Abhishek Banerjee in Kalighat area. A huge crowd of BJP workers gathered outside Mr. Banerjee’s office on Monday (April 4).
