Rural students can excel with quality education: Union Minister

Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan along with Education Minister Nara Lokesh and MSME Minister Kondapalli Srinivas visited PM Shri AP Model School at Bhogapuram in Vizianagaram district on Tuesday. He interacted with the students and expressed his joy at their prompt responses to his queries. Mr. Pradhan emphasized that through this interaction he realized the quality of education provided in the school.

The Union Minister added that students from rural and economically weaker backgrounds can do wonders if they are provided quality education. The Union and State Governments are aiming to provide quality education at the level of national standards through the establishment of PM Shri AP Model Schools.

Mr. Pradhan hailed Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for giving top priority to education sector in the ambitious document Vision-2047.

Mr. Lokesh highlighted the ‘Talliki Vandanam’, a financial assistance program designed to boost enrollment and strengthen government schools. Mr. Kondapalli Srinivas asked parents to focus on their children’s education and help them develop their careers.

Vizianagaram MP Kalisetti Appala Naidu, Vizianagaram MLA Aditi Vijaya Lakshmi, Collector S. Ramsundar Reddy, Joint Collector S. Sedhu Madhavan and other officials were present.
