Union Minister of State for Labour, Employment and MSME Shobha Karandlaje alleged that the state labor office was not functioning properly.
Speaking to the press in Hubballi on Friday (May 1), Mrs. Karandlaje claimed that in all the states ruled by the opposition party, the welfare fund meant for construction workers is not being utilized properly. “Especially in Karnataka, ₹15,000 crore is collected every year as construction waste which is not properly utilised. For them, welfare means organizing health camps and distributing packs, thereby draining our money.
