The 15-year-old Rajasthan Royals sensation is just one six away from completing 100 sixes in T20 cricket. If he achieves this, he will become the only teenager in the world to achieve this milestone.Sooryavanshi has already written his name in the record books this season with a number of notable achievements:
- Fastest to 400 runs in an IPL season: He reached 400 runs in just 167 balls, breaking the previous record of 188 balls held by Andre Russell.
- Youngest and Fastest to 1000 T20 runs: During his 37-ball 103 against SRH, he became the youngest player to reach 1000 runs in men’s T20s and the fastest in the number of balls he faced when he reached 473 balls, surpassing Mitchell Owen’s record of 533 balls.
- Most sixes by an Indian in an IPL innings: On 25 April 2026, he smashed 12 sixes against Sunrisers Hyderabad, breaking the previous Indian record of 11 shared by himself and Murali Vijay.
- Fastest century of a season: His 36-ball ton against SRH is the fastest of the 2026 edition and third fastest in IPL history.
- Youngest up to several centuries: He is the youngest player ever to score two centuries in the IPL, both coming under 40 balls.
Now, all eyes are on his potential 100th six, which could come in Rajasthan Royals’ clash against Delhi Capitals in Jaipur.
