Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on Sunday organized marches through Bengaluru on his centenary, with thousands of members participating in the uniforms of RSS.
For organizational comfort, the city was divided into northern and southern zones, with 100 places identified for marches: 51 in the southern zone and 49 in the North Zone.
According to the organizers, the number of participants in each location ranged between 200 and 500, while Chickpet March witnessed one of the largest gatherings and attracted almost 1,000 members.
The marches are part of a number of events that RSS perform at a nationwide level to commemorate 100 years of its foundation in 1925.
