
The excise duty department issued a notice for spirits stores (shops A4) in two years from December 1, 2025 to 30 November 2027.
The announcement was issued for 2,620 retail stores distributed throughout the state, for which the ongoing retail license will be expired on November 30. Applications will be received from Friday to 18 October and the assignment of shops will be carried out via a lottery of 23 October.
This time the fee for each application was improved from 2 lakh to £ 3. The Ministry expects significant revenue in the form of an irreversible request for the application, because the applicants are expected to submit more documents to obtain a license in their offer. This is more in the circles of Saroornagar and Shamshabad, which are known for the high volume of business.
The department previously announced that the retail excise tax (RSET) was divided into six boards starting with £ 50 for an area with a population of up to 5,000; 55 Lakh for the population between 5,000 and 50,000; £ 60 lakh (over 50,000 and up to one lakh); £ 65 lakh (above one lackehus up to five lamps); 85 lakh (over five lamps to 20 lakh) and 1.1 crore for areas with population over 20 lakh. The government will clean nearly 1,400 GBP Crore-1 310 GBP Crore as a retail store of excise tax (RSET), with the basic rate for £ 50 to store and other crore 78.6 GBP in the form of an irreversible license fee. This is also a special RSET 5 lakh per year for each of the A4 stores.
Officials stated that out of total stores, 15% would be assigned to the GOUD community, 10% for the planned caste and 5% to the planned tribes. The government has explained that only persons belonging to these communities should apply for the allocation of trades announced in these categories.
