Russian President Vladimir Putin, Monday, May 5, spoke with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and strongly condemned the terrorist attack of Pahalgam, the Ministry of Outside said in a statement. During the call, President Putin mediated Russian full support to Indian struggle against terrorism. Putin also accepted the invitation of PM Modi to visit India, confirmed the Kremlin.
According to Mea, President Putin said the perpetrators of the terrorist attack of Pahalgam and their supporters must be brought to justice.

He stressed that the perpetrators of the abominable attack and their supporters must be brought to court.”
Putin’s interview with PM Modim comes after Modi recently skipped his visit to Russia, in the middle of the escalating tension with Pakistan, which continues to feel the nervousness of the brutal Pahalgam attack.
During their call, Vladimir Putin and PM Modi discussed ways to strengthen close ties between India and Russia. PM Modi also wanted Putin happy 80. The anniversary of the victory day and invited him to visit India at the end of this year at the annual summit, said Mea.
