Harmeet Pathanmajra flees after the start of fire on the cops
Pathanmajra, the legislator of the Sanous seat in Patiala, said the police came to arrest him.
He was booked under the accusation of rape after AAP MLA attacked his own party over the floods and questioned its central leadership.

“Punjab AAP Mla Harmeet Singh Dhillon Pathanmajra reportedly escaped by police custody while transported to the local police station after his arrest,” the police sources said.
They add that Harmeet Singh Pathanmajra and his accomplice “fired at the police while fled and even crossed one police staff.”
Police staff was injured, sources said. “The police are chasing him,” said Punjab police sources.
