Puducherry police have arrested two accused in the Bengaluru triple murder case
The Puducherry police have arrested two persons who were allegedly involved in the Bengaluru triple murder case.
Senior Superintendent of Police, Law and Order R. Kalaivanan gave the names of the accused as Swetha and Kennath.
Two days ago, a police team engaged in night patrols spotted Swetha sitting in an autorickshaw near the New Bus Stand. She was not able to give convincing answers during interrogation, the SSP said.
“When Swetha was taken to the police station for further questioning, she voluntarily confessed her involvement in the triple murder in Bengaluru four days ago. We informed the KR Pura police station in the state. The Bengaluru police later informed us about another accused involved in the case. That’s how we got Kennath,” the SSP said.
Both the accused were handed over to the KR Pura police. According to information shared by Bengaluru police, Kennath is accused of plotting the murder of Swetha’s parents and sister. The parents were against the relationship between Kennath and Swetha, police said.
