Old Institutes of Industrial Education (ITI) have now been transformed into the latest advanced technology centers (ATC) according to the Dreams of Main Minister A. Revant Reddy to strengthen the development of skills and strengthening youth employability in industry 4.0 ERA.
Renovated and modern institutions with technology courses and world -class equipment will be launched by the main minister and his cabinet colleagues on 27 September. Mr. Reddy started them at the ATC at the Institute of Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Malleply, while ministers, MLA and public representatives will start across the state.
The project, carried out in cooperation with Tata Technologies, includes upgrade 65 ITI on ATCS for 2 379.63 crore. The state government contributed 363.38 crore, while Tata Technologies carried the remaining expenses.
Each ATC was equipped with modern workshops covering 13,500 square feet, equipped with top machines, tools and training sources. The centers will offer six long -term courses and 23 short -term courses that are designed to satisfy demand in the field in domains such as robotics, industrial automation, product design, EV technology, 3D printing, production systems and Internet of Things (IoT).
Tata Technologies has developed six new courses, including advanced CNC machining, industrial robotics and digital production, mechanical electric vehicle and process control automation. These programs are expected to produce highly qualified experts prepared to contribute to the developing industries.
10 869 (99%) have already been filled for this academic cycle, from 11 008 seats available for long -term courses. Starting next year, 1.25 Lakh short -term acceptance will be open in all ATCs.
As part of an agreement with the Telelangany Government, Tata Technologies will provide 130 head coaches (two for each ATC) and 780 coaches (12 per ATC). Three specialized training centers in Mallelely, Khammam and Nizamabad are already functional for UPSKILL existing ITI pedagogical staff.
The General Directorate for Training (DGT) and the National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) formally associated 65 ATCs and ensured the recognition of new programs at national level.
