
Producer Sandra Thomas was accused by the production controller in the film industry Malayalam, who gave her the threat of death.
On Friday, the media told Reni Joseph’s production controller allegedly called it on the phone on March 20, 2025 and threatened to be in response to her statement concerning the changing role of production controllers in the film industry. She said she had to block his number after he repeated the threat. Although she filed a complaint before the police, measures have not yet been taken, she claimed.

Police Palaraivattom, which registered the first information report on the basis of its complaint, said on Friday that the investigation was proceeding.
On Friday, she released the communication of executives of executives associated with the Federation of Film Staff on Friday, that she suspended Mr. Joseph of the primary membership of the Department after finding media reports of the death threats reportedly published by Mrs. Thomas. The Union also suspended Mukesh Thripunitura, another production controller, for the issue of similar threats against it.
Mrs. Thomas accused the leadership of the Federation to protect those who threatened her. She said that measures were taken against them only after she revealed the incident to the media.
Union reaction
Communication issued by the Association of Production Managers said Mr. Joseph was previously warned of such remarks.
Mrs. Thomas said in an interview that the role of production controllers guaranteed a change because they now acted as managers of artists.
