A kilometer away, near the Forest Trek Park, ocher colored rock paintings depicting animals, hunting scenes and geometric patterns were also found. Their age and possible connection with the grooves has yet to be determined.

Mr Dyavanapalli is urging the Telangana Department of Archeology and Museums to carry out a systematic survey of both sites, documenting the formations and paintings and looking for evidence of early human activity, including stone tools and pottery fragments.
